Yom Kippur 2008 Greeting Cards

Its Jewish holiday and people celebrate it in very traditional way with a 25-hour period of fasting and intensive Yom Kippur prayers. The day of Yom Kippur is the 10th day of Tishrei in the Hebrew calendar. People keep fast on the day and doing prayers for the God.

III) Sexual relations
IV) Wearing leather shoes
V) Anointing oneself with perfumes or lotions

Usually people doing fast 30 minutes before sundown and ends after nightfall the following day and its compulsory for Jewish if you doing traditionally Yom Kippur.
In the evening of Yom Kippur married men wear kittel a specially design dress for Yom Kippur evening. This day people doing prayers and keep fast because they have perception – “Yom Kippur atones only for sins between man and G-d, not for sins against another person.”
